W grudniu 2013r na terenie Nadleśnictwa Żagań GDDKiA Oddział w Zielonej Górze wykonała zadanie pn. „Wykonanie działań kompensacyjnych polegających na nasadzeniu jarzębu pospolitego (sorbus aucuparia) celem wzbogacenia i poprawy warunków troficznych biotopu głuszca i cietrzewia związanych z budową autostrady A-18 na odcinku węzeł Olszyna – węzeł Golnice”.
